OSLTT CS
BUILT TO ORDER, SHIPPED WORLDWIDE WITHIN 2 WEEKS
THIS IS THE LATENCY TOOL - DOES NOT TEST RESPONSE TIMES
The open source latency testing tool (OSLTT) has been revised to this, the CS (chip shortage) version, the latest and improved version. Here's what's new:
- Improved microphone amplifier - ultra low noise
- Automatic mic gain control (high gain for audio latency testing)
- Jumper to change between 3 pin and 4 pole microphones
- Three pin input for better peripheral testing
The main features of OSLTT CS include:
- Total system / click to photon / end to end latency measurement
- On Display Latency
- In game latency
- Mouse click / keboard keypress latency
- Audio latency
- USB C connectivity
- TRS Microphone jack AND INCLUDED MICROPHONE (or TTRS via jumper change)
- 3 pin input for remote triggering and peripheral testing
- Built in status LED
The units are hand built here in the UK and ship worldwide. I aim to build units in batches, with a 1-2 week lead time between ordering and your unit shipping.
Included in the box:
- Built, Assembled and Tested OSLTT CS unit
- 3 pole (TRS) lavalier microphone
- Software download card
- (Optional) 3 pin peripheral testing kit
- (Optional) 3 metre braided USB C cable
Peripherals Testing Kit
This tool (and only this tool) supports my new peripherals testing it. It comprises of:
- Three pin flyleads with:
- One crocodile clip on ground
- One solderable signal in pin
- One red banana plug on touch pin
- A handful of aluminium foil tape strips
The benefit of this kit is the ability to more accurately and realistically test peripherals like keyboards, mice and controllers. Attach the tape to a button/key/switch, clip the crocodile clip to the tape, then use the banana plug to actuate the switch/button/key. When the banana plug makes contact with the foil, the tool starts counting the latency.
